TulaSalud’s COVID-19 eLearning and eHealth programmes in Guatemala are getting a boost through the launch of a WhatsApp-based chatbot.
Focused specifically on frontline workers, TulaSalud’s COVID-19 programmes will be the first to be rolled out in this new initiative. Working with Turn.io, WhatsApp will be used to deliver short courses to thousands of health workers across Guatemala. It will also provide an accessible way for workers to access the Google Forms that are needed for enrollment and evaluation.
TulaSalud’s WhatsApp platform is poised to add a powerful arm to TulaHealth’s goal to implement innovative global health strategies that improve health, reduce poverty, and build social justice and equity in marginalised communities around the world.
TulaHealth is a part of the Tula Foundation, a philanthropic organisation from British Columbia, Canada, with roots in the high-tech sector and more than 15 years of experience of using technology to further its mission of solid science, community engagement, and social justice.
TulaSalud’s WhatsApp chatbots are powered by Turn.io’s technology which was developed to help social impact organisation teams to have life-changing conversations at scale.
